Mirjam Letsch Mirjam is anthropologist and photographer. It was she who befriended Papu several years ago and thought up the Papu Photo Project. Together with Hans de Clercq she dedicates much of her time to the work of the Nagwa Foundation, which they established in 1996. Apart from that, she is the co-author of the soon to be published travel guide on the desert state Rajasthan. At present, they are in the process of making a documentary film about life in an Indian slum.
