Zvone Seruga Zvone Seruga (born 1956) is wold traveller from Slovenia, who has spent good part of his life on the road. Among other things he travelled four years around the world on a motorcycle. Free lance photographer and journalist by profession, he has published seven travel books so far (available in Slovenian language only). He lives in Ljubljana with his wife and two kids. They spend a lot of time together backpacking through Africa and Asia. And how did he meet Papu? Simply, on the street of Pushkar about five years ago. She was stunningly beautiful, 16 years old and was just smiling for couple of quick shots. Well, he left her some change and she was well worth it. A year later, she found her way to the cover of his book Roads into the Unknown. He was looking for her three years later (2002), when again in Pushkar. And she was there again, this time with her husband and two kids and pregnant again. At that time they became friends. And the royalties for that cover page were enough to be able to deliver in hospital. She called Zvone a month later to Europe with the best possible news: I have a boy, baby boy. Thank you, Zvone, my friend. Of course, she is also part of his last book, titled Somewhere far. |
