An exhibition with photographs like these, will be impossible of course. We don't want to show too many shocking images, although an Indian activist once told us: Duniya jo nahi dekhti, vah nahi janthi! The world that does not see, does not know! Photography can be a very powerful means to bring about changes. Without showing too many cruelties, we hope the beauty of Papu's photographs will support the women whose beauty, both physically as well as mentally, is badly damaged.
